  1. Hello. I am looking for any information on a player named John/Jack Haplin that played on the 1947 Lawrence Millionairs/Lowell orphans. He is the Grandfather of a very special friend of mine. I have stats on him but I am looking for any photos of his team uniform. I want to make a replica of his jersey for her. In addition I would love to find any of the ballparks he played on so she can see where he played. Any help would be fantastic….. Thanks…..

  2. Wow. That’s a tough one. Wish I could help, but other than check the local library archives in Lawrence or Lowell, Mass. (if you’re ever in Northern Mass.) or creating e-Bay alerts for “John Halpin” and “Jack Halpin”, I’m not sure what advice I could give you. The e-Bay thing is a real longshot, but if someone ever posted old wire or newspaper photos of your friend’s grandfather for sale, you would get an alert in your mailbox.
